Enhanced File Transfer Server Introduction
The GlobalScape Enhanced File Transfer (EFT) Server is an electronic file transfer server that securely exchanges files over the Internet. Users connect to the EFT Server through a seamless Web Client that runs in Internet web browsers. The Web Client encrypts username and password submissions as well as the files it transfers making all transactions with the EFT Server protected and secure. The EFT Server is preferred over email to transfer files over the Internet.

The warning dialog is for informational purposes only. Despite the warning there is no valid security issue so suppressing the message in this instance is an easy way to proceed and stop this incident from reoccurring.
Transferring Files Via the Web Client
After logging into the EFT Server users are presented with the Web Client. The Web Client is a Java-based program used to transfer files in Internet web browsers. The large window on the left is the Local Filesystem. This is the users' local storage. The large window on the right is the Remote Filesystem. This is the users folder on our EFT Server. The area that runs along the bottom of the screen is the Queue Pane and shows the status of file transfers.
